Bed Bug Life Cycle

This is a small overview showing and displaying some of the new things you can do with beds - a brand new feature, introduced to Minecraft on 22nd February 2011 in the Beta 1.3 update. MORE ABOUT BEDS: - When you go to 'sleep' in a bed, your screen fades to black, and it is morning when you 'wake up'. (The whole process takes ~10 seconds). However, leafs decaying, and items smelting is NOT sped up in the process. Effectively, the only thing which is changed is - all mobs are killed, and the time is reset to dawn. - Although you can make the bed using any type of cloth you want in any order, the bedsheets always appear to be red with a white pillow. - When the release was first out, Notch and his crew left in some code, which gave you diamond tools and 64 beds when you died. This was removed within 5 minutes of the release. (I know - I experienced the bug myself!)
